Pitzer’s CARE team is comprised of Pitzer’s student affairs on-call team, staff, faculty and 7C campus partners; including not limited to Pomona Pitzer Athletics, Monsour Counseling & Psychological Services, and Student Health Services. Pitzer’s CARE team goal is to work within a multidisciplinary team to support and advocate compassionately for students who may be in crisis or experiencing an emergency.

The primary mission of Pitzer College’s Case Manager, is to assist students in achieving a balance of their overall well-being and academic success. Case management is committed to collaborating with Pitzer’s diverse community to ensure that all aspects of campus life- learning, working, and living are accessible to all students. Case management provides resources, advocacy, programming, collaboration, outreach and direct services to facilitate academic success, create inclusive environments, wellness and achieve access and equity. Pitzer’s case managers assist students with mental health needs, food insecurity, community referral. Follow up services, post hospitalization follow up, MLOA support and more.
