Eligibility
All applicants must have an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Students must be juniors or first-semester seniors at the time of participation.
Application
Students must first apply through Pitzer’s Office of Study Abroad and International Programs. If accepted by Pitzer, students will then be asked to complete an additional essay for Spelman.
Program Dates
Fall semester: late August to mid-December
Spring semester: late January to mid-May
Course Options
Spelman offers strong programs in the arts, humanities, social sciences, mathematics and the sciences. Students are encouraged to take advantage of course offerings/special programs that place the African Diaspora experience at the center.
Credit Possible
Students must take a full course load of 16 units at Spelman in order to earn 4.0 course credits at Pitzer.
Housing and Board Options
Students will live in a campus residence hall and receive meals at the Spelman dining hall.
