Barbara Junisbai, Associate Professor of Organizational StudiesPitzer College Associate Professor of Organizational Studies Barbara Junisbai will deliver a virtual talk, “The Russian Invasion of Ukraine: Situating the Events of Today within a Historical, Social, and Political Context,” on Tuesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. The talk is part of the United Nations Association (UNA) Pomona Valley chapter’s Global Issues Programs. The article, “The role of memory practices in building spiritual solidarity for survivors of state violence,” first appeared online in the journal in December 2021.

Oliver announced his plans to retire, effective June 30, 2022. “After a career of 45 years serving higher education and philanthropy, I want to share with you that I have given notice to the Board of Trustees that I will retire at the end of this academic year,” Oliver wrote.
