- A Cleaner Tomorrow
A Cleaner Tomorrow at Huerta del Valle
- Environmental Education program that teaches elementary school students about environmental issues and solutions to these problems
- Claremont Market Shares
- The Claremont Market Shares is a student-run food distribution program that connects Claremont students, staff and faculty with affordable weekly shares of local, sustainable produce in a goal of creating a more transparent, just, and local market for farmers and consumers
- Ecology Center
- EcoCenter is Pitzer’s longest standing environmental club. We seek to engage Pitzer and the greater 5C community in environmental issues and sustainability
- Meets on Wednesday nights at five in the Grove House
- Garden Club
- Meets on Friday evenings at five in the garden
- Green Bike Program
- The GBP is a student-run organization created to promote cycling, bike safety and sustainability at The Claremont Colleges and the surrounding community
- Meets on Sunday evenings at eight in the GBP building
- Pitzer Food Recovery Network
- Pitzer’s chapter of the FRN donates leftover food from the dining hall to the Salvation Army in Ontario twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays
- Redford Conservancy Fellows
- A diverse and passionate team of Pitzer students who are committed to collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to environmental sustainability, the longevity of Southern California’s natural environment, and the well-being of its peoples
