Pitzer College Professor of Art Tim Berg Exhibits at New York’s Dean Project

Claremont, Calif. (September 16, 2011)— Pitzer College Assistant Professor Tim Berg will exhibit a new body of work featured at the Dean Project in New York City, NY. This solo exhibition, on the brink, is the second collaborative venture with his wife, Rebekah Myers, for the gallery. Berg teaches art at Pitzer College.

on the brink is an exploration of ideas of material value and the consequences of the actions society takes to satisfy desires. This current exhibition is meant to provide the viewers with objects-situations where choices are put to the test in how one understands the value one’s actions.

The work will be exhibited from September 15 to October 29. An opening reception is scheduled for September 15 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Dean Project was established by Mark Dean with the opening of the gallery in September 2007. The gallery hours are Tuesdays to Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m.
