Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Golf Wins SCIAC I

The No. 1-ranked Pomona-Pitzer women’s golf team finished as champions of the SCIAC I Tournament with Katelyn Vo PO’24 tying for the SCIAC I individual title last weekend at Los Lagos.

Pomona-Pitzer owned the course against a stacked SCIAC I competition at Los Lagos with the Sagehens finishing with the highest number of pars as a team with 123. The team also finished with the best average score on par 3s with 3.08 and par 4s with 4.21. The Sagehens were tied in second place with CMS after day one with 288; Redlands held the top spot at 287. On day two, Pomona-Pitzer edged out the Athenas by four strokes for the win.

The Sagehens ended the tournament with a total score of 579. CMS took second at 583, and Redlands held third with 584.
