Convocation
Monday, August 30, 4 p.m.
You are invited to join us today for Convocation at 4 p.m. This virtual ceremony will be streamed live over Zoom.

Convocation formally welcomes the Class of 2025 and all our newest students into Pitzer’s academic and intellectual community.

Study Abroad Information Sessions
Monday, August 30, 5-6 p.m.
Wednesday, September 1, Noon-1 p.m.

Students planning to study abroad during the fall or spring must attend an information session before they can meet with a study abroad adviser. Information sessions will provide an overview of study abroad policies and highlight different program models available to Pitzer students.

The Sagehens Getting Ahead – Career Planning & Strategies is designed to provide Pitzer students with the essential tools and strategies to explore career options, make decisions about their education and career field, and connect their interests with the world of work. Open to sophomores, students will be exposed to resources and sessions that will allow them to dig deeper into their career goals. YOU MUST ATTEND one kick-off event to participate in the series.

Pitzer College Art Galleries

Fall Exhibition: Sadie Barnette: Legacy & Legend
Tuesday-Friday, noon-5 p.m.
Lenzner Family Art Gallery, Atherton Hall
Showing through December 18

Sadie Barnette: Legacy & Legend, a partnership between the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College and Pitzer College Art Galleries, is the artist’s most ambitious exhibition to date. The Benton is exhibiting a major new body of work that expands upon themes the artist has explored in an earlier project, Dear 1968,… (2017), and Pitzer is showing an installation featuring Barnette’s signature reimagining of domestic spaces as futuristic, other-worldly locations of liberation and restoration.
