Dear Pitzer Community,
Last week, we were fortunate to have three presidential candidates visit our campus to meet with faculty, staff, students, alums, and trustees. I want to thank all of you who participated in these meetings. The candidates greatly enjoyed the opportunity to engage with you and share their visions for Pitzer’s future.
We are now entering the final stretch of our presidential search process. In the next few days, the Search Committee will review your feedback from the campus visits. Our search consultants at WittKieffer are completing reference and background checks on the candidates. At the end of October, the Board of Trustees will conduct a final round of interviews and meet with the Search Committee before making a final selection. The Board intends to extend a job offer to a candidate in early November and make a public announcement soon thereafter.
