Celebrate Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Heritage Month

Join Pitzer College as we honor and encourage the study, observance, and celebration of APIDA heritage. We will spotlight members of our community and share information about any related events at Pitzer and The Claremont Colleges. Features will be added throughout May.

Summer Session

Find out more about Pitzer’s upcoming Summer Session! Make your summer count and save 25% on tuition. Courses—including biology, media studies, psychology, and more—are taught by Pitzer and Claremont Colleges faculty. Open to all students studying at an accredited college or university. Full-credit online or in-person courses are available. Financial aid is available for those who are eligible.

Join us on the Mounds for a yoga and meditation session focused on self-compassion and stress relief followed by free Acai smoothies provided by Ubatuba! Yoga mats are limited, so students are encouraged to bring their own mats or towels.

Intuitive Eating

Intuitive Eating with Lindy Bornstein ’09: The Meaning of Embodiment
Wednesday, May 4, 7–8 p.m.

This interactive presentation will introduce the term positive embodiment, how it relates to the practice of Intuitive Eating, and how to address barriers to positive embodiment. Lindy will invite participants to engage in self-reflection and written exercises during the presentation.

Pitzer College’s Academic Festival celebrates the independent research and creative work students have done throughout the academic year. It focuses on senior thesis research posters, PowerPoint presentations, and other oral presentations that will take place in classrooms on Pitzer’s campus.
