Pitzer@Home Presents…Screenings with Scholars: Coco Featuring an Introduction by Professor Carmen Fought
Tuesday, October 27, at 5 p.m. (PDT)

Join us for a watch party, Pitzer style. Pitzer Professor of Linguistics Carmen Fought will kick off our first viewing party featuring Disney’s Coco. Fought will discuss research she has conducted with Karen Eisenhauer ’13 about gender and language in Disney movies. Fought and Eisenhauer’s research has been featured in the Washington Post, highlighted in a special edition of National Geographic, and received a shout-out on Saturday Night Live. Tune in as Fought describes the research, then settle in with Pitzer friends and family to watch the Academy Award-winning film Coco. Movie watchers must be subscribed to Disney Plus.
