GivingTuesday 2021
Tuesday, November 23-30, 2021

GivingTuesday is the international day of giving and one of Pitzer’s biggest fundraisers of the year. This year’s campaign will celebrate the Pitzer community’s return to campus and the programs that allow students to apply the College’s core values in and out of the classroom. Donations will support students through the lens of four core pillars crucial to their success in this unique academic year.

1. Mental health and wellness.
2. Professional development.
3. Student engagement.
4. Inclusion and belonging.

Visit our GiveCampus page starting November 23 to learn how you can support Pitzer.

Art Exhibition – Jenny Perlin: Maelstrom

Nichols Gallery, Broad Center
Ongoing Now – December 17, 2021

Maelstrom is a 16mm black and white animated film made up of hand-written text and drawn images. The film is processed by hand using large quantities of photographic chemistry. As a result, scratch marks, camera flaws, and other physical effects are visible on its surface, which gives it a raw, unpolished, and magical appearance. Visit Pitzer College Art Galleries, open for groups of up to 6 people for one-hour visits. Appointments are offered Tuesday through Saturday on the hour from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. Prior to arriving, please make sure to schedule a reservation for your visit and complete our online Healthy Pitzer health form (form must be completed same day you will be on campus). Art Exhibition: Sadie Barnette: Legacy & Legend
Lenzner Family Art Gallery, Atherton Hall and Benton Museum of Art
Ongoing Now – December 18, 2021

Sadie Barnette: Legacy & Legend, a partnership between the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College and Pitzer College Art Galleries, is artist Sadie Barnette’s most ambitious exhibition to date. The Benton will exhibit a major new body of work that expands upon themes the artist has explored in an earlier project, Dear 1968,… (2017), and Pitzer will show an installation featuring Barnette’s signature reimagining of domestic spaces as futuristic, other-worldly locations of liberation and restoration.
