It was a pleasure welcoming Pitzer’s newest students and their families to campus. From moving into the residence halls and learning about campus resources to connecting with fellow families and members of the Pitzer community, the day marked an exciting beginning to the academic year.

Whether you joined us in person or supported your student from afar, we are grateful to have you as part of the Pitzer community.

Following Move-in Day, new students participate in New Student Orientation (NSO), a required program designed to help them build community and prepare for academic and campus life.

Orientation programming includes:

  • Introductions to campus resources and support services
  • Social and community-building activities
  • Orientation Adventures that allow students to explore the campus and surrounding area

New students can find their full orientation schedule and important updates in Engage.
