Author Ken Miller will read from his book War Torn – Stories of Courage, Love, and Resilience. Miller is one of the keynote speakers at the Migrations conference on November 8.

Juan Jose Miranda, PhD, will be discussing his career path as an Environmental Economist leading to his career at the World Bank. Dinner will be provided.

Migrations: A Conference on Refugees, Immigration and Global Movement
Friday, November 8, 9:30-4 p.m.
Founders Room, McConnell Center
This interdisciplinary conference will focus on global and domestic issues as they impact refugee communities, immigration patterns, indigenous peoples, and the movement of groups around the globe as a result of geopolitical crises and decisions.
