Art in the Sciences
Assistant Professor of Art Sarah Gilbert has collaborated with a group of artists, biologists, and philosophers on a new book that visually represents how biological systems work on different levels. The result is the recently released Drawing Processes of Life: Molecules, Cells, Organisms. In this collection of essays that intertwine science with art, Gilbert is the co-author of "Process Epistemologies for the Careful Interplay of Art and Biology: An Afterword."
