Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability
Pitzer College’s Core Value of Environmental Sustainability comes to life in the education, advocacy, and critical research of the Conservancy
Regenerative farming and clean energy have the power to transform Southern California’s landscape. A research study conducted by Pitzer College, sponsored by the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR), explores how agrivoltaics—the combination of regenerative soil practices and solar energy production on the same land—can create a more sustainable and resilient agricultural system.
