Robert Redford Conservancy Fellows
Our Conservancy fellowship program is designed for student workers who are passionate about collaborative approaches to environmental sustainability and community building.
Students work on group projects with support from the Conservancy's director, staff, and other campus and community partners.
Meet Our Fellows
Calli O'Neal '25 (she/her)
Calli is a senior at Pitzer College, majoring in Environmental Analysis and Spanish. Passionate about creating equitable supply chains and regenerative food systems, she is dedicated to advancing sustainability through innovative and community-driven solutions. When she’s not on campus, you can usually find her on the road, living out of her backpack, meeting new people, and exploring new places.
Diego Tamayo '25 (he/him)
Diego is a senior at Pitzer College and is majoring in Environmental Analysis specializing in the Sustainable Built Environment track. He has lived in Diamond Bar for most of his life, a place filled with intersections of biodiversity, local government, community building, and land use planning. Witnessing the evolution of Diamond Bar and the larger Southern California region in the face of climate change has influenced his passions for ecology, city design, transportation, and community placemaking. He enjoys traveling and photography, which conveniently go hand in hand with his solo journeying throughout the Greater Los Angeles area and his trips with friends and family.
Khylah Pugh '25 (she/her)
Khylah is a senior majoring in Science Management on the Public Health track. She enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and being outside. She is very passionate about making outdoor recreation more accessible to all. Throughout her college career, she has grown interested in environmental justice and the linkages between the physical environment and human health. She values centering community voices in addressing environmental concerns and is excited to work with the Conservancy's community partners.
Wyatt Bandy-Page '25 (he/him)
Wyatt is a senior who is double-majoring in Environmental Analysis and History. From Western Massachusetts, he is passionate about environmental policy, urban design and labor organizing in the Inland Empire. Outside of school, Wyatt avidly enjoys hiking, cooking, and gardening.
Danilo Estigarribia Gamarra ’25 (he/they)
Danilo is a senior and is double-majoring in Environmental Analysis and Critical Global Studies. Danilo is interested in exploring the way in which power dynamics of the “Global North” and “Global South” intersect with and impact the environment on a global scale. Danilo enjoys hiking and backpacking and is interested in languages. They speak four languages and enjoys linguistics discussions. Danilo is an international student from Paraguay and has been involved in socio-environmental activism in the Latin American region since 2019.
Jeremy Kim '26 (any)
Jeremy is a junior majoring in Environmental Analysis with an interest in air quality. Growing up in Seoul, South Korea, they realized concerns about environmental injustice surrounding the country's air quality. In their spare time, they enjoy watching cartoons and playing the harp.
Gabriel Bartoli '26 (he/him)
Gabriel is a junior majoring in Environmental Analysis and Organizational Studies. He is interested in exploring the function of the private sector in dealing with global environmental issues, waste management, and reforestation. He enjoys traveling, hiking, playing sports, and gardening. Gabriel is an international student born and raised in Brazil’s tropical rainforest. With 85% of his hometown's forests lost to deforestation, Gabriel hopes to contribute to restoring nature to its rightful place.
Luca Davis '27 (he/him)
Luca is a sophomore who is majoring in environmental policy with a minor in data science. From Seattle Washington, he has lived in Berkeley, and Seattle and is interested in geographic information systems (GIS) environmental law and conservation. He enjoys maps, guitar and local wildlife.
