Founded in 1975, Pitzer College’s New Resource Student Program was created to expand access to a Pitzer education for adult learners seeking an undergraduate degree. Designed with flexibility in mind, the program supports students who are balancing academic goals alongside work, family, military service, or other significant life commitments.
Open to students age 23 and older, New Resource students may enroll full‑ or part‑time and shape their course load to fit their lives. Participants bring rich and varied experiences—from full‑time careers and community college study to military service and community leadership—that deepen classroom conversations and strengthen our campus community. If you’re looking for a supportive, engaged learning environment that values your journey and experience, we encourage you to explore the New Resource Program at Pitzer College.
