Family Weekend 2025 Schedule
9 a.m.–6 p.m. Family and Friends Lounge (Registration + Check-In, Pitzer Store, Information Center)

Your all-day home base for check-in, campus info, and Pitzer gear.
9–10:30 a.m. Donuts with the Deans and Coffee Cart
McConnell Center, Apron
Kick off your morning with coffee, conversation, and connection with the academic leaders at Pitzer.
10 a.m.–Noon Office Open Houses

Peek behind the scenes and meet the teams who support our students, including Career Services, Student Affairs, and Study Abroad.
11 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Wellness Block
Gold Student Center
Explore hands-on activities led by Strive 2 Thrive and Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services (MCAPS) that celebrate balance, health, and well-being.
11 a.m.–Noon Study Abroad Panel: The Student Perspective

Hear directly from students about their transformative global journeys, including seven uniquely Pitzer experiences in Nepal, Vietnam, Ecuador, Botswana, Costa Rica, Brazil and Italy. Learn how your student can incorporate study abroad into their Pitzer experience.

12:15 p.m. Friday Noon Concert Series - Autumn Bamboo: Sounds of Shakuhachi, Rachel Rudich (Pomona College) and Kaoru Kakizakai, Shakuhachi Traditional and 20th century pieces for the Japanese bamboo flute

Experience the weekly “Friday Noon Concert Series” as presented by the Joint Music Program of Pitzer, Scripps, Harvey Mudd, and Claremont McKenna. This concert features the meditative beauty of the Japanese bamboo flute in concert.

Transitioning with your student into independence can be difficult. Join members of the Hive to practice skills, listening deeply to strengthen connection and understanding.
4:30–6 p.m. Table Read at the Grove: Stories with Faculty
