Posting Positions
Posting Positions
Faculty and staff are required to post job descriptions for available student employment positions on Handshake. Each position must have its own posting and each posting must indicate the number of openings available. Departments should make every effort to offer jobs that are meaningful and educationally related. The following resources are available for supervisors:

Student Employment Additional Information Form
The Student Employment Information Form is available for supervisors to collect basic information from student applicants, including their eligibility for work-study, availability and prior work/volunteer experience. Supervisors can collect other information as part of the application process. Students are encouraged to submit this online form along with other requested materials to potential supervisors.
Work-Study: When considering student employees, on-campus departments are encouraged to hire work-study students. This will help ensure that students with the most need of employment are prioritized for on-campus jobs.
