The Office of Study Abroad and International Programs (SAIP) serves as a comprehensive resource for student intercultural experiences at Pitzer, offering study abroad and study away opportunities as well as programming and support to international students. The SAIP Office offers a broad range of programs and services that challenge students to engage with difference, expand their appreciation of other cultures, and increase their level of intercultural understanding and awareness.
Summer Explorations
There's still time to register for our Summer 2026 study abroad programs! Spend six weeks immersing yourself in the language and culture of Brazil or Vietnam.
The Pitzer in Brazil Summer Program provides students an opportunity to engage with a city and region that has retained and celebrated its African roots. This summer program is run in collaboration with the Steve Biko Institute, a nationally recognized organization helping Black Brazilians enter and succeed in college settings.
Our Pitzer in Vietnam Summer Program is done in collaboration with Hue University. On the program you'll study the Vietnamese language, history, culture, political structures, and environmental issues.
