Transcripts

Pitzer College contracts with Parchment for all official transcript orders. Transcripts can be mailed, picked up in on campus, or delivered directly to your email. The fast and most cost-effective type of transcript to order is an electronic transcript which costs $5 and is usually fulfilled within 24 hours. For ordering instructions, please click one of the options below.

 

Official Transcripts

Official Transcripts are available through the Parchment Storefront on your MyCampus2 portal. To order, click the Student tab and select the Parchment link on the bottom of the page. If you haven't already, you will need to set up a Parchment account and add Pitzer College to your list of schools.

Unofficial Transcripts

Current students can access their unofficial transcripts through the MyCampus2 Portal.

Official Transcripts

Official Transcripts are available through our Parchment Storefront. Transcripts can be mailed, picked up in on campus, or delivered directly to your email. Unofficial Transcripts

Recent graduates can access their unofficial transcripts through the MyCampus2 Portal. If you no longer have access to your MyCampus2 Portal, you may order an official transcript through Parchment. 

Verifications

Pitzer College contracts with the National Student Clearinghouse for degree and enrollment verifications. 

Enrollment verifications provided by the National Student Clearinghouse are available to students 24/7 through their MyCampus2 Portal. Verification certificates include:

  • Student name
  • Current enrollment
  • Enrollment history
  • Full-time/part-time status
  • Pitzer letterhead

If the National Student Clearinghouse certificate does not meet your needs for verification, please order an official transcript through our Parchment Storefront. Official transcripts include:

  • Student name
  • Major(s) and minor
  • Course registration
  • Number of credits completed
  • GPA
  • Degree conferral date
  • Registrar signature

If neither the certificate nor official transcript meet your needs, or if you require the completion of a particular form such as a college report, please complete the Verification Request Form [PDF] and attach the file to your submission. 

Please order an official transcript through Parchment to verify the following: 

  • Student name
  • Degree conferral date
  • Years of attendance
  • Majors(s) and minor
  • Course history

If the official transcript does not meet your needs, or if you require the completion of a particular form, please complete the Verification Request Form [PDF] and submit it to registrar@pitzer.edu.

The term “third party” refers to any entity other than the student who attended Pitzer College. The Registrar’s Office does not provide any type of verification by phone or email. Pitzer has contracted with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide third party degree and enrollment verifications for a nominal fee. Immediate verification is available through the NSC for most records from 1982 to present. Requests for verification of earlier records may experience a delay of 1-2 business days.

Third party requests for information not contained in an enrollment or degree verification for an individual through the NSC will not be provided regardless of the presence of a third party signed release.

All verifications for third parties are provided in compliance with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Additional Transcript Information

Electronic Transcript 

An electronic transcript is an official transcript that has been digitally signed, certified, and delivered via e-mail. Please make sure your recipient accepts official electronic transcripts before submitting an electronic transcript request.

Mailed Paper Transcript

If an electronic transcript does not fit your needs, you may request the "Paper Transcript - Mailed" option when placing your order. 

Pick Up Orders

Parchment provides a pickup option for orders. Paper copies of official transcripts are fulfilled and picked up in the Office of the Registrar. Please wait for an email confirmation that your order is ready for pick up or call 909.607.2650.

Processing Time

Electronic transcripts are processed within minutes. Mailed orders are sent out the same day if the order is placed before 2pm PST. We do not mail transcripts on Saturdays, Sundays, or certain holidays (New Year’s Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Eve Day). Orders placed for pick-up are processed within one business day. Please allow an extra business day for processing if you graduated prior to 1993.

Order Status

You can log in to the order site and click on “Order Status” at the top of the page.

Order on Hold

Check the email you received with the hold status for more information on why the hold was placed on your account.

If you have a hold that you did not place please contact the Office of the Registrar at registrar@pitzer.edu. Once the hold is removed, your transcript request will be automatically processed.  You can check its status as described above.

Once your account has been set up and Pitzer College has been added to your list of schools, place an order for a mail-order official transcript or eTranscript and select AMCAS as the recipient. You will be prompted to enter your Transcript ID and AAMC ID. You will have the option to attach a cover letter, as well.

AAMC & Transcript ID

Both IDs may be found in your AMCAS application or on the AMCAS transcript form.

If the form requires any action from the Registrar’s Office (a signature, or any fields to be filled in) please send it to us at registrar@pitzer.edu. We will complete the form and send it back to you. You will then be able to upload the form with your transcript order.

If the form requires no action on our part, simply attach a PDF version of the form when placing your order and it will be sent along with your transcript.
