A new book co-edited by Pitzer College Professor Emeritus of Sociology and Chicano/a-Latino/a Studies José Z. Calderón, is a collection of articles by immigrant rights activists, labor activists, and scholar-activists who are dedicated to immigrant and workers’ rights.
Less than a year after Associate Professor of Organizational Studies Barbara Junisbai joined the board of the Central Eurasian Studies Society (CESS), she flew to the capital of Uzbekistan to participate in CESS’ 2022 Summer Conference as the chair of the society’s communications committee.
