Support for Finals Week Studying

Dean Omoto's notice for studying locations and support.

Flecher Hall

Dear Pitzer students:

Finals week is almost here!

Based on a recommendation from the Academic Planning Committee, Pitzer will open two classrooms for late night studying and group project work beginning Sunday, Dec 8 and running through Thursday, Dec 12. Specifically, Bernard 101 will be open for small group work and Bernard 111 will be a quiet room for individual studying. These rooms will be open until 10:00 pm each night. In addition, courtesy of the President’s Office, light snacks will be available in these rooms on a first-come, first-serve basis while they last.

In addition to these classrooms, the Bernard computer lab will be open for use 24 hours throughout finals week. The Pitstop Café also will have extended hours, staying open until 8:00 pm, Monday, Dec 9 through Wednesday, Dec 11.

Finally, and as a reminder, Night Owls programming has begun at the Library and will continue through Thursday, December 12. The Library is open 24 hours and also has snacks and stress reduction and fun activities as part of this programming. More information can be found here.

Best wishes on your final projects, papers, and exams, and also for a restful semester break.
