Passing of Pitzer Student

Dear Pitzer Community:

It is with utmost sadness that I write to inform you that Pitzer student Jesse Lopez ’24 has passed away. We will share an additional update when memorial details are available so that our community can come together to remember and honor Jesse.

The sudden loss of a Pitzer community member affects us all, and support for our students, faculty and staff is available as we all process this immense grief.

Student Resources:

• Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services (MCAPS) will be on-campus and available on a walk-in basis during the following times:
  • Friday, October 27^th until 8pm in the Gold Student Center Multi-Purpose Room
  • Saturday, October 28^th from 1pm-4pm in the New Resources Student (NRS) space in Mead Hall. Pitzer Case Management Team also available at this time. 
  • Sunday, October 29^th from 1pm-4pm in the NRS space in Mead Hall. Pitzer Case Management Team also available at this time.
