Francesca (she/her) is a junior at Scripps College majoring in Environmental Analysis, specializing in the Sustainable Built Environment track, with a minor in Human-Centered Information Design. Growing up in rural Mendocino, California, she was shaped by the region’s fog-shrouded redwoods, rugged coastline, and thriving kelp forests, inspiring her passion for community-centered ecology and sustainable living. Francesca has gained experience in both the government and nonprofit sectors, successfully engaging with diverse stakeholders on environmental projects. Through her fellowship, Francesca is deepening her contributions to climate resilience efforts while refining her expertise in data visualization and environmental communication. She is particularly passionate about integrating design and data analysis to promote sustainable solutions and drive meaningful change. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, organizing community events, and practicing yoga.
