Apply With the Common App
Our New Resource program is a flexible option for students over the age of 23 searching for a bachelor's degree program. You may attend full- or part-time and can plan course loads based on your family and job commitments.
Our New Resource students come from a variety of backgrounds and contribute a wealth of life experiences to our Pitzer community. Past experiences include full-time work, military duty, community college, and more. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply and join our engaged and supportive community!

- Select a current professor or other individual who can comment on your academic potential. Examples include employers and volunteer supervisors.
- You will assign your recommenders once you access the online application. If your recommender can’t do a digital form, they may download the New Resources Program Reference form [PDF] and email it to applicant@pitzer.edu.
- Recommenders must send their letters directly to the Office of Admission.
College Report
- Download the College Report [PDF] or download it from the Common Application website.
- This form is required if you have attended a college.
- The report should be completed by a college official with access to your academic and disciplinary records. Examples include a dean, adviser, or registrar.
- You will assign a college official once you access the online application.
- If your college official can’t do a digital form, they may download and email the College Report to applicant@pitzer.edu.
Official Transcripts
- All colleges/universities you have attended must send your official transcript. They can send it to the Office of Admission by mail or to applicant@pitzer.edu.

- Submit your high school transcript if you have finished less than 32 semester credits or 48 quarter credits by the admission deadline. You may email your official high school transcript to applicant@pitzer.edu.
- All official transcripts must be sent to the Office of Admission directly from a college/university and high school.
Course Credit Transfers
- Up to 64 semester units or 96 quarter units from a community college
- Additional 32 semester units or 48 quarter units from an accredited four-year institution

Financial Aid
Pitzer meets 100% of demonstrated financial need for all admitted students.
- For New Resource Applicants, Financial Aid is packaged to cover the cost of tuition and fees only.
- New Resource students are not eligible to receive Pitzer financial aid to cover on- or off-campus housing, though some loan options may be available.
