Madison Quan ’22 Sets Women’s Basketball Program Record
The Sagehens were led by Quan, who put on a performance for the record books with a program record 41 points in the win.

Madison Quan ’22 broke the single-game points record with 41 points in the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens’ 88-84 win over No.23 La Verne on Saturday afternoon at the Tents.
A recent Pitzer alum and a current Claremont Graduate University student, Quan is playing this season on the Pomona-Pitzer women’s basketball team after missing one year to Covid as an undergraduate.
With the win over La Verne, the Sagehens break their three-game skid and improve to 7-14 overall and 5-9 in SCIAC play.
The Sagehens were led by Quan, who put on a performance for the record books with a program record 41 points in the win. Quan previously tied for most points in the game with her previous career-high of 38 in the 2019–20 season at Redlands.
This is not Quan’s first major accomplishment in basketball. Quan netted her 1,000th career point in November, becoming the thirteenth player in program history to do so.
