Helping Our Planet

This fall, the Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability launched its much-anticipated “SoCal Earth” interactive online dashboard. This digital tool presents Southern California environmental and climate data on topics such as pollution, food security, habitats, and various plant and animal species. Conservancy student researchers maintain and update data on the site. A $100,000 gift from The Eileen and Harold Brown Foundation helped make the dashboard’s creation possible. Harold Brown is a member of Pitzer College’s Board of Trustees. Are you interested in learning more about different local habitats in real time? Visit the dashboard
