Bio

Leah Senatro is serving as the Interim Director of College Writing. She is currently a PhD Candidate in the English department at the University of California, Irvine where her studies have focused on rhetoric and composition and the medical humanities. Her research explores the rhetorical consequences of embodiment, illness, and sensorial experience. She continues these explorations through embodied and collaborative pedagogies in her writing classrooms. Leah spends her weekends painting, finding the best matcha lattes, and teaching her parakeet new words.
