In this workshop, we’ll break down what networking actually is, why it matters, and how to approach it in a way that feels natural and authentic.
Networking doesn’t have to mean awkward small talk or asking strangers for favors. In this workshop, we’ll break down what networking actually is, why it matters, and how to approach it in a way that feels natural and authentic. Learn practical strategies for identifying people to connect with, starting conversations, reaching out professionally, and building relationships over time.
About Wednesday Workshops: Wednesday Workshops are recurring career development sessions open to all Pitzer students. Each session, we cover a different career-related topic—from career exploration to internship/job searching, networking, and more. It’s a casual, welcoming space to learn something new, connect with peers, and make progress on your career goals. Free food provided at every session!
RSVP is required to reserve your spot (and your plate!).
*We order food based on RSVP numbers, so registering early helps us make sure you’re covered! If the workshop is over capacity, we’ll prioritize meals for those who signed up
