Join us this Friday for a meet and great with our Native & Indigenous Initiatives Consultant, David Joseph Montoya III. David has been working alongside Pitzer since April 2025 to assist with assessing the structure and nature of Pitzer’s academic programming related to the Native & Indigenous community. David has had the opportunity to meet, collect and synthesize information with the goal of developing actionable recommendations for future work within Academic Affairs.
This Friday, David will be joining us on campus in Broad Performance Space from 3pm-5pm as another opportunity to connect with our community!

David Joseph Montoya III | David is an enrolled member of the Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo in northern New Mexico. His educational path has been deeply rooted in service to Native communities. David is a UCLA School of Law graduate with a focus on Federal Indian Law with a master’s degree in American Indian Studies, and has the privilege of working with tribal nations, educational institutions, and community-based organizations across California in support to expend Native educational access, self-determination, and cultural revitalization.
