Artist/organizer Je Naé Taylor from the renowned Highlander Research and Education Center will lead this powerful (& FREE) train-the-trainer this July at CASA Pitzer — Spread the word! CULTURAL ORGANIZING TRAIN-THE-TRAINER!

Cultural organizing celebrates and honors people's spiritual traditions and cultural expressions in the work to shift policies and practices. This week-long training nurtures the skills of grassroots leadership and builds the capacity of marginalized communities to identify and address the challenges they face. Cultural organizing uses the power of art and culture as tools to dramatize injustice, to visualize freedom and justice for all, and to actualize that vision.
Participants leaving this training will be able to support their organizations in the development of cultural tools to help take their current issue campaigns to another level.

¡ENTRENA AL ENTRENADOR!
La organización cultural celebra y honra las tradiciones espirituales y expresiones culturales de las personas en el trabajo para cambiar las políticas y prácticas. Esta capacitación de una semana nutre las habilidades del liderazgo de base y construye la capacidad de las comunidades marginadas para identificar y abordar los desafíos que enfrentan. La organización cultural utiliza el poder del arte y la cultura como herramientas para dramatizar la injusticia, para visualizar la libertad y la justicia para todos, y para actualizar esa visión. Los participantes que salgan de esta capacitación podrán apoyar a sus organizaciones en el desarrollo de herramientas culturales para ayudar a llevar sus campañas temáticas actuales a
otro nivel.
