Are you hungry for hope in these times of despair?

Are you hungry for community in these times of isolation?

Are you hungry for new tools and strategies to make real change?

Are you hungry to reclaim art, culture and spirit in our political change work?

Then join CASA Pitzer for it's 3rd annual Cultural Organizing training.

August 17-21, 2026
3:00PM - 8:00PM

Cultural Organizing brings the arts and traditional practices into strategies for making change in political campaigns and social justice efforts. Acclaimed organizer and artist, JeNaé Taylor, brings this critical model from Tennessee’s Highlander education and research center, the historical training grounds of Martin Luther King, Ella Baker, Rosa Parks, Paolo Freire, Miles Horton, and many others. Join a coalition of thousands of organizers across the country advancing critical change in local communities.

This training will equip organizers with tools to make concrete social change in their communities, utilizing rigorous and radical frameworks and strategies including popular education, participatory action research, language justice, intergenerational organizing, theatre of the oppressed, songs/art/music/spirit + joy! Included: fantastic facilitators, robust network of support, opportunities for future project funding, free food, childcare and translation/interpretation. The five-day Cultural Organizing train-the-trainer takes place at CASA Pitzer (200 S. Euclid Ave, Ontario) and is open to all.

Spots are limited so apply now:

Application open July 10- August 7; acceptance confirmation will be shared August 10.
