Join the 5C community for Power Down, a friendly, campus-wide competition to see which residence halls can reduce their energy use the most!
As part of a larger Earth Month campaign, students across the Claremont Colleges will work together to build more sustainable habits- turning off lights, unplugging devices, and being mindful of everyday energy consumption.
Throughout the competition, energy usage will be monitored and compared both across campuses and between dorms, with prizes on the line for the most energy-efficient campus. Whether you’re making small changes or rallying your entire hall, every action counts!
Power Down is just one piece of a major month-long celebration of sustainability, culminating with the popular EcoReps-run Weigh the Waste competition.
Get involved, make an impact, and help our campus lead the way toward a more sustainable future! 🌱
