Pitzer’s 13th Annual Academic Festival, a celebration of all the excellent independent research and creative projects our students have been engaged in this year. We are pleased that so many field groups and majors are represented at this yearly event. Many thanks to Pitzer’s faculty advisors for putting in all the time and effort mentoring your students to reach this moment. Most importantly, congratulations to all our student participants for your dedication and vision!
In addition to the Academic Festival’s Poster Session and series of Panel Talks, please find also find in this program information related to parallel events hosted by Art, Creative Writing, the Community Engagement Center, Media Studies, the Intercollegiate Department of Africana Studies, the Intercollegiate Department of Asian American Studies and the Gender & Women’s Studies program. Many thanks, also, to 5C faculty and staff who worked hard organizing those events.
We also extend a big “Congratulations!” to the Pitzer students who presented at these concluded events, and a big “Thanks!” to the 5C staff and faculty who organized them: the CASA Pitzer Research Symposium, the DNS Senior Thesis Poster Session, the Pitzer Environmental Analysis Senior Thesis Presentation, the American Studies Senior Thesis Presentations, the Chicanx/Latinx Studies Senior Presentations, and the Pitzer Spanish Capstone Presentations.
