The Women of the Sixties Endowed Emergency Fund is to provide financial assistance to currently enrolled Pitzer College students who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses because of temporary hardship related to an unexpected emergency situation.

The goal of Women of the Sixties Endowed Emergency Fund is to create an additional endowed student emergency fund to prevent one small emergency or unexpected large expense from derailing a student’s academic journey. These awards will have no impact on present and/or future financial aid. They will vary depending on the type of emergency, the individual circumstances, and the actual needs of the student affected by the emergency.

Through the generosity of The Women of the Sixties — and all who join them in this endeavor — The Women of the Sixties Endowed Emergency Fund will solidify Pitzer College’s commitment to empowering socially responsible citizens of the world.
