Please note that TLC no longer funds field trips. Given the recurrence of such events and the college’s desire to fund them more often, the Dean of Faculty’s Office has created a budget line for field trips. It’s now possible, for example, to request to take students on multiple field trips for the same class.

If your course has a service learning component or has been supported by the Center for Community Engagement (CEC), the DOF asks that you continue to use CEC as the source of the account number for transportation. As with TLC, the field trip requests funded by the DOF will still be capped at $400, unless there is extraordinary justification. The application process for field trips will require specific information, please complete the field trip form managed by the Dean of Faculty’s office.
