Aracely '27

Aracely is a sophomore at Pitzer College, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Art. She came to Pitzer with an idea of what she wanted to pursue but that flipped as she explored the liberal arts school model. With her newfound passion for Sociology, she intends to carry on her work to graduate school and is currently working on a feminist sociological research project. You can find her in the ceramic studio or the Mudd Makerspace working on side projects in her free time.

Golden is a STEM intended major, and lover of the planet. In hopes of being an Environmental Scientist, her future plans include working in field research helping develop climate protection or helping with environmental emergencies in remote areas. Golden's fondest Pitzer memory was the Orientation Adventure, since it was the first time a Wisconsin city girl like her had ever seen the beach.

Jacob '27

Jacob is a sophomore looking to double major in Anthropology and Mathematics. He loves the close-knit campus community at Pitzer as well as its many resources for student creativity. Jacob also enjoys the ability to explore the Southern California region while at Pitzer. After graduation, he hopes to go international to pursue postgraduate studies in the social sciences.

Vir '28
Vir is a rising sophomore intending to major in Economics or Organizational Studies. One of his most memorable Pitzer experiences is eating meals with his friends at the dining halls. His future career goals include being financially independent, doing something passionate in his work, and living a balanced life.

Akniyet is a sophomore studying Political Studies and Cognitive Science. One of her most memorable experiences at Pitzer was a Friendsgiving dinner, where they enjoyed a rich mixture of international cuisine.

Ming '26

Ming is a junior at Pitzer College majoring in Gender and Feminist Studies with a minor in Mathematics. One of their most memorable experiences at Pitzer has been visiting the Claremont Village, where they enjoy exploring local cafés, secondhand stores, and community spaces. They have been actively involved in research and community engagement, exploring topics such as gender, politics, and social movements. After graduation, Ming plans to pursue graduate school to further their studies and advocacy in these areas.

Micah is a senior majoring in Critical Global Studies and minoring in Art. He enjoys writing poetry at the Robert Redford Conservancy and loves attending on-campus art markets and visitor talks. He intends to attend law school and practice civil rights law.

Lena is a sophomore student at Pitzer, studying Political Studies and Economics. As a transfer, her most memorable Pitzer experience was stepping on campus for the first time during orientation. She hopes to work in tech and non-profit marketing.

Pixie '27
Pixie is a sophomore at Pitzer and looking to major in English, focusing on a creative writing track. She picked Pitzer to be a part of a supportive and tight knit community while having access to a larger system of resources. So far Pixie has loved being able to hike Mt. Baldy, swim outdoors at the 5C pools and biking around campus. Post college, Pixie aims to move back to the East Coast and pursue post graduate degrees in social work.
