Update on Anthology Student Launch Timeline
Dean Omoto shares an update regarding Anthology Student's go-live date.

Dear Pitzer Faculty,
Please see below for an update from TCCS on the transition to the new Student Information System
At the recommendation of the SIS Executive Committee, the 5C Presidents have agreed to postpone the planned go-live date for Anthology Student. Our latest testing (ETL3) confirmed that significant data conversion errors remain unresolved, making it unfeasible to proceed to the next phase, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), this spring.
To move forward, we must update the conversion logic for Anthology’s Data Services group and conduct further validation and testing before authorizing UAT. These additional steps mean that a summer 2025 launch is no longer possible. However, the delay in Anthology’s launch does not impact our plan to move first-year pre-registration to early August.
The 5C Presidents are now evaluating two new potential go-live dates: December 3, 2025, or July 1, 2026. They will meet in early May to weigh the pros and cons of each option. Once a decision is made, we will hold a community town hall and share an updated project calendar.
In the meantime, students, faculty, and staff will continue to use our current portal and conduct academic and administrative activities as usual throughout the project extension.
Once a new launch date is identified, we will develop a schedule for orienting the campus community to the new system. We anticipate these orientation activities will occur mid-semester while students and faculty are on campus, ensuring broad access and support during the transition. Administrative staff participating in the implementation will continue contributing to development and testing efforts while managing day-to-day operations on their respective campus.
Regardless of the timeline, we anticipate updates to the next round of data validation and testing. Anthology has committed to tailoring its standard testing approach to better align with Claremont’s needs, including allowing the TCCS project team to support data conversion and early testing efforts. Testing will be structured around our business processes and customizations, resulting in improved accuracy and more meaningful test results.
Thank you for your continued focus and dedication to this critical project.
