You are invited! Dinner, program and music celebrating the United Nations Day 2024. The UN is 79. "Democracy what is is good for?" The challenge of citizens, especially young people, losing faith in democracy. Keynote address from Professor Erica Dobbs of Pomona College.
Join us for a United Nations day dinner and program honoring model U.N. groups at Cal Poly Pomona and the Claremont Colleges. This event will feature a keynote address from Erica Dobbs, an assistant professor of politics at Pomona College, titled “Democracy: What is it good for?” The keynote will be followed by student presentations on U.N. Sustainable Development Goal 16 — Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, as well as a dinner.
Reservation Information
