Faculty and Staff Active Assailant Training - Session 1

This important training is designed to provide guidance on how to be prepared and respond effectively in the event of an active assailant situation. All faculty and staff are encouraged to participate.

As part of Pitzer College’s ongoing commitment to campus safety and emergency preparedness, we invite all faculty and staff to attend one of two Active Assailant Training sessions being offered this Friday.
When: Friday, October 24, 2025
For convenience, the same session is offered at two different times:
Session 1: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
Session 2: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Where: Benson Auditorium
Why: Learn how to: 1) identify emerging and imminent violent actions, 2) prevent and neutralize violent actions, 3) select and take timely and effective protective actions, and 4) prevent the loss of life through the application of life-saving medical interventions.
