Yusef Pierce, a California-based artist in his thirties, is a self-taught artist who began creating art in prison as a way to communicate with his young children. His work now explores themes of racism, resilience, and revolution, blending realism with political symbolism and pop art influences. Teaching art in juvenile halls and prisons, Yusef shares his journey to inspire others demonstrating how creativity can be a powerful force for change.
