Part of the Office of Black Student Affairs and Intercollegiate Department of Africana Studies' Centering Blackness Series.

Join us for a talk in The Centering Blackness Series with Drs. Monique Levermore and Eric Hurley.
Dr. Monique Levermore is the Founder of Levermore Psychological Services — a clinical/consulting private psychology practice incorporated in Florida, with sattelite offices in Miami, West Palm Beach, and Orlando, Florida. Dr. Levermore's unorthodox private practice was partnered with a variety of state agencies to provide services to underserved and marginalized children and adults. A graduate of Howard University (Ph.D., Clinical Psychology), she currently serves as a full professor and the program director of the APA accredited Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at Alliant International University — California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles.
Dr. Eric Hurley (Chair, IDAs; Professor of Psychological Science & Africana Studies at Pomona College) will host a Q&A with Dr. Levermore sharing her career journey, lived experiences, and reflections on trailblazing in a predominantly white field.
