Claremont, Calif. (August 5, 2014) – Pitzer College was named one of nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education by The Princeton Review in its The Best 379 Colleges: 2015 Edition. Pitzer was also named a Best Western College.
The College was ranked #10 most LGBT Friendly and #16 Most Popular Study Abroad Program in this year’s lists.
Princeton Review surveyed 130,000 students at 379 top colleges. The 80-question survey covered dozens of topics and asked students to report on their campus experiences. It also rates all schools in eight categories based primarily on data from Princeton Review’s 2013-14 surveys of administrators at the colleges. Only about 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges are profiled in this book. This Best 379 Colleges is the 23rd edition of The Princeton Review’s annual “Best Colleges” book.
Earlier this year, Pitzer College was also named a 2014 Best Value College and 2014 Green College by Princeton Review.
