Pitzer College Climbs 40 Spots in the 2020 Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education US College Rankings

Claremont, Calif. (September 24, 2019) — The 2020 Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College (WSJ/THE) rankings named Pitzer College #27 in best liberal arts colleges and #77 overall nationally, a rise of 40 positions in one year, putting Pitzer among the US’s top 100 best colleges and universities.

WSJ/THE rankings result are a compilation of performance indicators and a student survey that examine issues including students’ engagement with their studies, their interaction with their teachers and their satisfaction with their experience.

Earlier this month, U.S. News and World Reports ranked Pitzer #9 Least Student Debt and #35 Best Liberal Arts College, #12 in Campus Ethnic Diversity and #15 in Most International Students in the national liberal arts colleges category.

Last month, College Raptor named Pitzer #5 in its Hidden Gems with the Lowest Average Federal Student Loan Debt ranking.

In August, Princeton Review included Pitzer in their Best Western, Best Value Colleges, Colleges That Create Futures and Green Colleges rankings.
