Credit Possible
Students must take a full Birmingham course load, which is 60 units in order to earn four course credits at Pitzer. 60 units means 3 classes that are worth 20 units each or 6 classes that are worth 10 units each or a combination thereof. In addition, students will earn 0.5 Pitzer course credits for the writing course via Sakai. (See above under Required Courses.)

Housing and Board Options
Students live in university accommodations located about a 30 minute walk from the campus. Students locate their own housing with assistance from the Housing Office in Birmingham. Students receive a stipend to prepare their own meals.

Additional Notes
Students are accepted by an individual department, and university policies make it difficult to register in classes in more than one department, although one course in another department may be possible.
