Eligibility |
Students must be in good standing at Pitzer College and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students must have junior or senior status at the time of participation. |

At least one area studies course is required before departure. Other general preparation options include: Comparative Politics, Intercultural Communications, Introduction to International/ Intercultural Studies, Introduction to Sociocultural Anthropology |

Required Courses |
Participants are expected to take one course while abroad that includes content on Netherland history, politics, literature or culture, and the Pitzer Sakai course Intercultural Learning: Portfolio Writing. |

Intensive Dutch language courses may be available. |

Course Options |
Courses are intended for students that have completed at least 4 or 5 courses in their major field prior to the exchange. Students are requested to select the majority of courses from one field of study. Refer to the ISEP website shown above. |
Credit Possible |
In addition to a full course load at the university, students will earn 0.5 Pitzer course credit for the Sakai course. See above under Required Courses. |
Housing Options |
Students are housed in residence halls with cooking facilities. Students receive a monthly stipend to cover living and transportation expenses. |
