The following is a list of programs currently approved for Pitzer College students. There are multiple types of programs available, including:
- Pitzer College Direct- Run Programs – Pitzer College operates programs around the world. These programs employ a cultural immersion model integrating language instruction, family stays, study trips, a core course, and the opportunity to pursue an independent study project or service-learning opportunity. These programs are open to both Pitzer and non-Pitzer undergraduate students.
- Direct-Enroll – Students can enroll in a program offered by an approved organization that focuses on topics of interest, cultural immersion, and/or language acquisition.
- University-Based Programs – Students can spend a semester studying at an approved university and take courses with local students. These university-based options are available through bilateral exchanges, direct enroll agreements with partner colleges, the ISEP network, and domestic exchanges.

Domestic and international programs offered by the other Claremont Colleges, other universities, or external organizations may not be approved by Pitzer. If a program is not listed on this website, it is not approved at Pitzer. The deadline to petition to study abroad on a non-approved program for fall 24 or spring 25 will be Nov 15, 2023. All students considering a non-approved program should have an approved program as a backup option. Details about the general application process, the non-approved program policy, and the petition process can be found on the How to Apply website.
