Program Title: Pitzer Exchange with Northern Arizona University, School of Indigenous Studies

Eligibility
Students must be in good standing at Pitzer with a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Preference given to juniors and first semester seniors but sophomores are eligible if space is available.

Preparation
Students should demonstrate relevant and appropriate curricula interests.

Application
Students must first apply through Pitzer’s Office of Study Abroad and International Programs. If accepted by Pitzer, students may be asked to complete Northern Arizona University Indigenous Studies forms.

Program Dates
Fall semester: late August to mid-December
Spring semester: mid-January to mid-May

Course Options
Pitzer students will take courses in Applied Indigenous Studies. Course options are available here. AIS Academics

Community Engagement
Students will have engagement/internship experiences with Native American organizations in Flagstaff or the reservation.

Credit Possible
Students must take a full course load of 15 units at NAU in order to earn 4.0 course credits at Pitzer.

Housing and Board Options
Students will live in campus housing and receive a meal plan for on-campus dining.
