Why I Am an RA: I wanted to provide the Pitzer community the same and more memorable experiences that it gave to me.
One thing every resident should know about Pitzer: You can know exactly who you are, or have no idea, and you will be cherished and nurtured into a more complete version of yourself. About 50% of what you learn doesn't happen in the classrooms and those are the lessons worth memorizing.
Extracurricular I am involved in: The Ninth Street Hooligans a capella group, On The Loose, Arabic Tutoring
Hobbies/interests: Anything to do with nature, performing, eating, sleeping.

Hobbies/interests: I love reading articles about clinical psychology, learning about new immigration issues, listening to music, chilling with friends, running, exploring new places, learning about new cultures, and learning a new language.

Why I Am an RA: I want to be the best resource for my residents, the freshman class, and the Pitzer Community.
One thing every resident should know about Pitzer: The best time to eat at the Dining Hall is right when it opens
Extracurricular I am involved in: Photography (film and digital), regular lab tech at Pomona, Office of Admissions and Tour Guide
Hobbies/interests: Biking! (I have two bikes here, a single gear and a road bike), concerts! (I try to go see one live show a month), documentaries, (whenever I have time I try to watch docs, during the summer I saw 2-3 a week and now at least 2 a month)

Why I Am an RA: Because ResLife is such an important part of generating positivity and cohesion within the Pitzer community.

Why I Am an RA: Because I want to be an outlet and a support group for the incoming first years

Extracurricular I am involved in: Femco, Rainbow People, QQAMP, PAS student council, The Alliance, ResLife, Admissions tour guide, and hopefully many more in the future.
Hobbies/interests: Playing music, listening to music, reading literature (Faulkner rocks my world. Right now I'm getting into D.H. Lawrence), journaling, writing poetry, face painting, building forts, hiking, and backpacking.

Hobbies/interests: I love empowering others and finding modes for expression of the student voice! In the summer (and once or twice during the school year), I travel around California to present workshops and keynotes at student leadership conferences which train student in strategies to increase democracy on campus and reduce administrative direction of school policies and student activities.

Why I Am an RA: It's a part of who I am. I love to help and take care of people; I am the mom of my different friend groups. I love the family that I have come into at this school through the ResLife program, I don't know if I'd be able to get through college without that support.
One thing every resident should know about Pitzer: Exploring the other campuses is an extremely important part of being part of the Claremont College; even through Pitzer is amazing the other colleges have a lot to offer in many ways.
