Obtaining Trans-Related Physical and Mental Health Care at Pitzer

The initial contact point for all mental health resources at the 7Cs is Monsour Counseling Center. There are therapists at Monsour who have experience in working with queer, trans, nonbinary, and QTPOC students; contact Patty Gonzales <email hyperlink> to find support. In addition, Monsour and the QRC have contacts with mental health providers throughout Greater LA. Therapists at Monsour are capable of writing support letters for trans and nonbinary patients.

For physical health care, there are two points of contact: Student Health and Health Education Outreach. While the 7Cs do not yet provide PrEP, PEP, or HRT, these offices have contacts with many organizations throughout Greater LA which do. Contact Alex Washburn (Coordinator): [email protected] for more information.

Within the Office of Student Affairs, Assistant Dean and Case Manager Stephanie Hannant ([email protected]) is also a resource at Pitzer that can meet with you personally, develop a self-care plan, basic needs, and assist you with identifying resources and support available.
